My right thyroid lobe measure 4.0x1x1.1 cm while the left measure 2.8x1.0x.05 cm. Both lobes exhibit heterogenous echotexture. A 1.0x.07x.07 cm well-defined hypoechoic solid nodule with peripherial vascularity is seen in the lower pole of the righ lobe. No calcification is seen. And the impression-normal sized thyroid gland with heterogenous parenchyma and solid nodule in the right. What does it mean?
