My Roommate Came Back With The Chickenpox And I Believe

My roommate came back with the chickenpox and I believe I got the shot and recently had titres done that show it is in my blood. I got a soreness in the upper right part of my right eye. It doesn't necessarily hurt but it aches sometimes when i blink. It just started today a few hours ago kind of suddenly, or atleast i didn't feel it coming on. My roommate came back yesterday but she was also here three days ago before she left to go home and see a doctor after experiencing the symptoms. I have felt generally fine until now. She refuses to go back home so I don't know if it is safe to be in the room with her. I have heard how some have taken the shot and still got sick, including my friend. I can stay in a friend's room but i don't know if her germs could have drifted onto my bedding, toothbrush, towels, and such. I was wonderig how long it takes before this virus dies off without a host and i can use my stuff? Also, this may sound ridiculous, but could my eye hurting be a sign of herpes in my eye since chickenpox is a form of it?
