My Sister Is 63 And Was Taken To The Hospital

My sister is 63 and was taken to the hospital because she was severily bleeding from the rectum. She said she was tired and no black stools or had other symptoms. Just weak and tired, lost weight, then starting passing straight blood and lost a lot. Was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The ran tests and we are waiting the results of the colonoscopy the doctor is not saying much. I had precancerous polyps on my last colonoscopy and was told to have it rechecked this year. Any thoughts
