My son 11 1/2 has ADHD and is taking 36 mg of Concerta has increased from 27 mg 3 months ago he is now getting into more trouble at school and I'm finding his behavior too much some days. he has also talked about suicide which we addressed with a psych. Do we need to go down in dosage should I try to take him off it for a while? He has Also Dyslexia and Auditory Processing disorder and his 4 years behind in school he has been on ADHD medication for 4 years and has made little difference in his education and only a bit more on his impulse behavior. Any suggestions is there anything available for memory and concentration?
