My son 2 years old had mild hypospadias surgery at 10 months. Since the surgery his penis has a noticable bend downwards which the Urologist downplayed as mild. However, l can't help but compare it with my older 6 year old normal son's penis which is nice and straight. Is the bend likely to go away as he grows or will it stick on forever and cause him embarassment once he begins to notice it. Can it be corrected sooner as he is still young and unaware than later? Can l push to have it corrected or ignore my motherly fears and trust the Urologist that it is fine?
