My Son Aged 25 Is Treated Severe Head Ache By

My son aged 25 is treated severe head ache by a qualified MD and after a series of tests
MRI,2d ECho etc. it is observed that there is a small area of T2 hyperintense signal in ventro medial
part of right thalamus which shows bright signs on DWI and is isointense on ADC maps. Rest normal.
He got discharged after a couple of days in hospital and surprisingly his headache never recurred
ever since. He has been prescribed following medicins which he is takin for the past 3 months

Somozina ... 1 - o - 1 for 15 days only
Aztor 40 mg (Atorvastatin) tabs daily one tab
Sibellum 10 mg f1 tab daily for 2 months now tapered to 5mg 1 tab daily
Clavix AS 75 - 1 Tab daily

Except Sr No.1, rest all other medicines he is still taking as per doctor's advise
whom we visit once a month. He is ok now, no headaches at all, but he has put on
considerable weight i.e 63.7 kilos on 25th January 2016 where as now he is 74.5 kilos
Besides he feels very sleepy during morning. But rest of the day he is ok. His apetite
has increased considerably and he has given up junk chinese food and has started
eating home cooked food. This cud be the reason for his weight gain or cud it be the
normal side effect of sibellum.
I sincerely request you to advise me whether above line of treatment is in order.
How long these medicines can be continued safely without severe side effwect.
Thanks for your prompt advice.
