My son had a mole excised on the palm of his hand on Monday he had it cauterized. The doctor said it was in too awkward of an area to put a stitch in it because it would just rip out. How long does it typically take for a mole excision to heal on the palm of hand? He plays baseball and right now cannot play. The doctor said it would not effect his ability to play baseball and to jutlst put a bandaid on it but it is just the opposite he is now on the disabled list until he heals I am not too happy about this.
