My Son Had An Enmergency Apendectimy- His Appendix Was Gangreen

My son had an enmergency apendectimy- his appendix was gangreen with a calcium blockage. after 4 day his extreme pain came back. he went to er and had cat scan. they sent him home with stronger pain meds and surgeon said that there was a small calcium deposit left, should desolve by itself but is speaking with him in a few days tos ee if pain continues to subside. He said that he took out all he could and would have damaged other organs if he went farther.Could this calcium deposit be the cause of his pain?does this sound reasonable to you?
