My Son Has Flu Like Symptoms And Sore Throat, Please Help

my son has felt unwell since yesterday with flu like symptoms and sore throat but have noticed a bruise like mark on the roof of his mouth towards the back. is it anythinhg to be concerned about ?

It is difficult to comment without having a look to the palatal sore. Its appearance along with sore throat and fever indicates that it is mostly of viral origin, probably herpes. If so, it should subside along with the remission of fever symptoms. If the lesion persists even after the flu like symptom wears off, you must consult a local doctor.
