Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 18 years old . He cries so easily at things . For example when we ask him about going to college or what he wants to do in life he says he doesn't know and he starts to get upset. He cries uncontrollably for any where for a 1/2 hour to 45 mins some times longer.before he finally stops.Recently he said he feels depressed ( Not to the point he feels suicidal ) when we ask him about how he feels or what is he thinking about or what's bothering him he cries and clams up doesn't talk. The question is could this be a hormone imbalance? A chemical imbalance in the brain? He doesn't do drugs . He doesn't drink. And he doesn't smoke. Thank you Laura Castillo
