My Son Is 1year 3months He Mistakenly Put A Local

My son is 1year 3months he mistakenly put a local made soap mixed with chemicals in his left eye,in the process he couldn't open his two eyes for 3days,and it was bringing out water.i took him to an eye doctor and they applied some eye drop including a particular one that dilated his pupil,I don't know what it's called. Then I was given betamethasone & neomycin eye/ear drops (1 drop 3times daily),genoptin gentamicin eye/ear drops (1 drop 3times daily),chloraphnol chloramphenicol eye ointment 1% (once daily at night),Vitamin A (2 liquid tablets, firrst tablet given by the eye doctor and the other tablet to be given after 2weeks)the first tablet was given 8days ago, doctor my fear now is that his sclera is red I don't know if it's due to the medication or something else what can I do?
