My Son Is 21 Years Old And An Active Runner.

My son is 21 years old and an active runner. He is experiencing pain in the bottom of his right foot in I believe he said the meditrasal area. It does not hurt when he is not walking or running or putting pressure on it. Any thoughts as to what the problem could be?
