My Son Is 4 Years Old 27 Kgs. Was Admited

My son is 4 years old 27 kgs. was admited cause of vomiting and loose bowel movement. Initially they hooked IVF D5 .03% NaCl 1L. Then another D5 .03% NaCl 500ml then another D5.03% NaCl 500ml, next D5IMB 500ml, then D5 IMB 500ml again, in a matter of 2days. Do you think it's a good intervention? Though blood tests, U/A and F/A was negative?
