My son just had oral surgery to have a tooth pulled from his pallet...he had general anesthesia through an IV...dentist said everything went fine...but at home he is hysterical and says he can not feel his right arm - which had the IV in it...I can punch his fingers and no reaction....is this normal? Do I need to go to emergency room? It is hiday weekend and dentist is gone?
