Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son passed away last year. Two years prior he had suffered significant brain injury due to lack of oxygen from a near-drowning accident. When he arrived at the hospital they did a CAT skin that showed signs of swelling in his brain. At no point in time in the two years did they do another CAT scans. He ended up passing away from brain hemorrhages. My question is should he have received more can't scans and if so could it have possibly prevented his death?
