My wife has been administered more than prescribed by an error by a RN who made up a list of medications after my wife returned home from a nursing facility. The nurse was the intake nurse for the home health service. We were provided direction on her medications by this service. She has been administered 2 -75 mg plavix oral tabs per day since February. This last weekend she was treated by ER . After review of her treatment discharge documents i noticed a change in her meds on their paperwork. It appears that she has been getting more of this med than originally prescribed because of a provided list by the nurse. I am concerned that this may have caused her harm. She was doing so well and then started to get ill after returning. I have tried to discuss this with her nurse today and have an appointment tomorrow.
