Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife has had a salty discharge from her gums for the past month. she had pain in her gums and was given pennicillin rx but it didn't respond. Both her dentist and a peridontist said they didn't think there was an infection but her gums looked sore. Coincidentally she had her appendix removed and she was given IV antibiotics & the first place she felt relief was in her gums. After getting out of the hospital she then got a rx for Augmentum & this seems to help. but she is almost at the end of the rx and still says she has the infection. Please advise
