My Wife Is Having Trouble With Her Stomach, Not Her

My wife is having trouble with her stomach, not her esophagus. So far she has tried all but Nexium. She has been taking Omeprazole, Ranitidine, and an antacid comprised of Aluminum Hydroxide 400 mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 400 mg and Simethicone 40 mg. She says this last works but only for a short while and realizes that she cannot overdo it. Our doctor has prescribed the Omeprazole but it is useless. She realizes that she will have to see the Doctor again but is there anything besides Nexium, OTC that she can get now on the weekend. She has never had stomach problems before. Is there any possibility she has the bacterium that causes ulcers?
