Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife woke up about noon and said had nausea, so she went back to sleep. I woke her up at 5:30. She said here body had tingling all over and remarked something was no right. Then she said there was some numbness in her arms. When she tried to move her arms she had what I will call muscle spasms. When I ask her to squeeze my hand she did ok. When I ask her to touch her index finger to her nose she responded slowly....like she had to think to do it. I asked her to smile, she did but was not in the normal response time and was only half a smile with some drooping on her right side. She still has nausea. ARE THESE A SIGNS OF POSSIBLE STROKE? John
