NECK/CHEST: There is felt to be interval worsening of moderately intense hyperglycolytic activity seen within the right suprahilar region corresponding with areas of developing off ill-defined tissue prominence. Recurrent disease within this region cannot be excluded this is seen to a lesser extent just posterior to the previously described region and abutting the superior margin of the right major fissure. The ill-defined area within the right suprahilar region demonstrates a maximum SUV value of 3.2. The ill-defined area of soft tissue prominence which abuts the right major fissure superiorly demonstrates a maximum SUV value of 2.8. There some nonspecific hyperglycolytic activity seen within the left suprahilar region with an SUV value of 3.1. There some mild fullness seen of the right infrahilar region with mild hyperglycolytic activity in this region and SUV value of 2.2, just above mediastinal blood pool. No significant hyperglycolytic activity was seen within these regions on the patient's comparison study.
ABDOMEN/PELVIS: No evidence of pathologic hyperglycolytic activity within the abdomen or pelvis. There is moderate to intense hyperglycolytic activity seen within the cardia of the stomach. This may be related to gastritis correlate with clinical symptoms or direct visualization is recommended.
