my daughter possibly has nail patella syndrome . only symptom so far are her nails . she s very heathly, developing well. if this is truly what she has, will her health deteriorate?? we still have to have x-rays, genetic testing and meet with a nephrologist . she s 2 in june. a dermatologist diagnosed her with this friday by examining her nails(missing thumb and index nail)
Hi only 10-15 percent of nail patella syndrome people are effected by full fledged syndrome features .in others only nails can be effected by some.do not worry even then frequent following of the case by x rays ct scan to see the condition of patella
