Nausea, Loss Of Appetite, Burping, Headache, Loose Stools. Help

Hi, for the last few days I have been feeling really nauseous (on and off) as well as loss of appetite, lots of burping - especially after I eat which never happens usually, one day I had headaches but they're gone now, not much energy and I have been having loose stools (normal colour)... I have never had any issues with anything previously. It's been like this for about 3 days now. I can handle it, it's just the nauceousness that I can't.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

The possibilities are either gastroenteritis or acidity.

I would advise you to take curd/probiotics like lactobacilli.
Have smaller frequent meals rather than 3 large meals.
Have soups, rice gruel with a pinch of salt, toast.
Avoid oily/fatty /spicy food.
After consulting a physician , it might be a good idea to take a combination of domperidone and omeprazole.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
