Neck Pain, Hoarseness, Lesion On Strap Muscles. What To Do Next? Taking Motrin, Xanax

Hi my name is Dee, I have been having neck pain and hoarsenees for 4 months. I have a lesion 0.7cm on strap muscles. My abn labs are wbc 3.08, neut 29, reac lymph % 5, mono 12, eosin 7 and abs neut 0.89. I have seen 3 different ent with no answers to what lesion or cause of pain. What should I do next? I can't continue to live off Motrin, Flexiril and Xanax forever. Nor do I want to continue to deal with the pain in front of neck.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you are having can be related to an infection in the throat or a neck muscles spasm. A direct examination is an integral part of proper diagnosis. Oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines are needed for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
