hI I am 24 year old guys. I have pain in my neck people is saying that air is locked in your veins. I feel uncomfrtablein slleping pain is happening since last four days. I have also take Pronim drugs suggested by my friend I get little relief but still i am not able to move my head completely...My mom is saying that it s happening due to un-mannared sleep. I would thankful for your any advice. Thanks
Hello Nishant, you might have developed locked neck or stiff neck.. That could be because of facet joint involvement. Your mom is right. You might have developed this pain and discomfort due to bad posture. This can only be corrected by some Manual therapy techniques which a professional Physiotherapist or chiropract practitioner would be knowing. Along with this you need to apply some hot fomentation over neck region. Then Myofascial release technique for neck and upper back. Lastly Phonophoresis (Ultrasound therapy with some analgesic ointment) will be definitely helpful for you. At home you can practice some relaxation techniques to reduce the muscular tension. So after all you need to rush to a near by Physiotherapy clinic and get your free neck back as soon as possible. Have a pain free neck soon.
