General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Concerned.,
Thanks for writing to us.
The chronic neck pain with radiation to left arm and to back could be due to many reasons . As such the following can be considered to be investigated.
A)Cervical Radiculopathy; Compression of nerve roots due to various causes including disc prolapse/spondylosis/trauma/
B)Spondylosis;Usually in the middle age due to wear and tear of joints(Osteoarthritis) and age related degeneration of joint facets and neural foraminae leading to sensori motor disturbances/pain /paresthesia.Nerve compression and lack of blood flow.
C)Cervical Rib; Congenital growth of Cervical Vertebral Transverse process at the level of seventh cervical vertebra on the first rib will lead to compression of lower trunk of brachial plexus and subclavian artery.
Treatment; Pain killers;NSAIDs/ opioid Analgesics and Muscle relaxants and local application of muscle relaxant sprays.
Physiotherapy with traction , Neck Excercises and Short wave etc.
Cervical Collar as per the measurement of patient.
In addition chiropracters/Yoga/accupuncure have been tried.

Kindly try the above measures,
Wishing you a speedy recovery,
Best regards.,
