Neck Pan Below Left Jaw, Swelling, Pain In Left Inner Ear. Taking Amoxicillin, No Improvement. Suggestions?

It might necessary to have a clinical review again. No improvements could result from collection of pus that might require drainage , resistance of the causative agent to antibiotics that are used or bone infection (osteomyelitis) of a nearby bone.

X rays and CT scans could give a better image of what is going on. A clinical review, culture and sensitivity tests to identify the organism and these radiologic examinations could give more inside to the intensity or gravity of this health condition.

I suggest you contact an ENT specialist for a complete review.

Neck pain below left jaw, a swelling
Pain in left inner ear and
just beginning to have pain in upper teeth on left side.
CT Scan - which part of the body.
Most probably all these symptom suggests about the dentigarous cyst. Better to consult ENT specialist for further management.

I have gone through your query regarding pain in neck behind the angle of jaw left side, painful lump on neck left side along with pain in ear left side.

Though you are feeling pain in ear that also in deeper portion as you said " pain in left inner ear ". Here I would like to tell you that if pain occurs due to any disease of inner ear , there will be always associated deafness or vertigo.

Though you are having dental problem and that may be responsible for giving reffered pain in ear and painful swelling in neck. Therefore it will be better to consult an ENT doctor for tharough examination of ear and treatment.

These all symptom suggests that disease lies in the left jaw and you also have CT scan done and cyst present just give the complete description of CT scan for clear cut diagnosis.
