My 10 year old came back with the following thyroid results and i was referred to an endocrinologist but i wasnt told what anything meant. Tsh 7.81 antibodies -6 either t3 or t4 is. 92 and antigobulin is 23 which i assume normal for living 1 mile above sea level since birth.
You have not mentioned the lab reports clearly with their units. Presuming standard units have been used, your daughter has a high TSH and a low T4 which is suggestive of hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the body is producing decreased amounts of thyroid hormones. She will need further tests and detailed evaluation by a paediatrician / endocrinologist for appropriate treatment.
Hope that helps. Wishing you good luck.
