Increase vascular marking are noted in both lungs field Hila are normal . Treachea is central Bony cage and Left hemidiaphragm are normal Thickening of right inter lobar septum is seen Please what does this mean ? I met with a doctor and she said it might be pneumonia . While the woman at the lab said it might be TB but I haven t cough or feel cold for long. I will appreciate your help. Thanks
Described findings indicates right sided pleural effusion.Thickening of right inter lobar septum is also due to pleural effusion. Right sided effusion may be due to pneumonia or T.B. Pleural fluid can be examined after tapping. You also need clinical correlation.Culture of pleural fluid can also be done. Further investigations like PCR for T.B can be done if needed.
Accentuated broncho vascular markings may be due to infection. Other findings are normal.
Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question.
