Need Medication For Pain On The Left Elbow Due To An Injury

Hi, I fell backward landed on my left elbow first of october 2013, it brused and swelled alittle, hurt when I touched the bone or rolled on it in bed. Since then when I roll over in bed and put weight on it still hurts badly or if I lean on elbow and aches on and off. Should it take this long to not hurt, should it be looked at starting to wonder if I chipped a bone or something?
