Need Medication For Redness Around The Wound For Second Degree Burns

I had a very large first degree burn on the back of my hand with 3 small second degree burns. Its been 8 days the wounds have closed skin has peeled and is still red but looking better everyday. today I came down with a slight fever and very sore muscles, what should I do?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
Redness around burn wound is mainly due to inflammation.
This can be controlled by using topical steroids.
Apply mometasone cream, you will get good relief.
Also take an anti inflammatory tablet like combiflam.
A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
