Need Possible Treatment For Lymes Disease

I contacted Lymes disease 3 years ago and was treated with the antibiotic doxycycline. My infectious disease dr said it was an acute case and would take a while to get to feeling better. My question is this..Since the disease at different times I have such a pain in my back in the muscles between my shoulder blades, that it feels like I cannot even stand up any longer. My muscles become so weak that it feels like they cannot hold up my body. The only relief is to lay down flat for about an hour or two, and then I am fine until the next bout comes. It seems to be getting progressively worse. I am 66, and live an active lifestyle, but these spells are a pain. Is this from the Lymes and will it only continue to get worse. Thank you.,
