The last 3 times I have had my TSH level taken it has been low showing that I am over corrected. My doctor has not changed my dose. I have had hypothyroidism for 25 yrs and I am now 45. I have had many dose changes over the years where I have gone up and Down between 125-200. I have had episodes of tachycardia over the years. I wonder what happens if I stay over corrected to long. At this time I have no order to repeat the test.
HI WELCOME TO HCM AND THANKS FOR THE QUESTION. YES OVER CORRECTION OF TSH MAY CAUSE SYMPTOMS OF PALPITATIONS,ANXIETY,SWEATING,INCREASE BP.SO IT IS ADVISABLE TO DO TSH EVERY 6 MONTHS AND ADJUST DOSE OF TABLET. WISH YOU GOOD HEALTH DR PRANAY BUDKULE
