Good afternoon: I am feeling so sick from what I think is the Influenza. I have a 103.2 fever at night, its 101.7-9 during the day. I have severe, painful, semi-productive cough, but the stuff me so thick, that I am really having a very hard time bringing it up. It is like cement that I am trying to move. So a whole lot of congestion down there in my chest. I feel like I am suffocating because it is lodged down there and won t move. Would like be the flu that is going around it Maryland this week? my husband contracted down in VA a couple weeks ago, and came home, two days later he was laid up in bed with the Influencza bug. What should I do, as I am really feeling as though I am suffocating when trying to bring this gunk up. Please, do I need to see a Doctor to be diagnosed. My ribs are hurting so much for cough. Fever is at 101.8 during the day, and 103.2 at night so far. Please help? Thank you very much. Kindest Regards to you, cav PS: I have had pneumonia severe times within the past 10-12 yrs now, and I am afraid it will turn to that. does this particular strain mutate of pneumonia?
