MY WIFE IS 62 YRS . SHE IS SUFFERING FROM SUDDEN MORNING GIDDINESS FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS IT HAPPENS. WHEN SHE SLEEPS IN A DORSAL POSTURE. SHE FEELS AS IF WHOLE ROOM IS WHIRLING AROUND. AS SOON AS SHE GETS UP FROM BED SHE IS NORMAL. WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE AND REMEDY FOR THIS SORT OF SICKNESS. ?

in elderly woman giddiness can be due to raised bp, diabetes,prolonged bed ridden, electolyte disturbences, ear related infections/bppv. consult an ent surgeon for proper evaluation and rx.
