Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Topamax contains 'topiramate', and is is an anticonvulsant. It is used to treat seizures. It is also used to prevent migraine headaches in adults.
The most common side effects of Topamax include: anxiety, ataxia, confusion, diarrhea, diplopia, dizziness,
drowsiness, dysphasia, fatigue, lack of concentration, memory impairment, nausea,
nervousness,
paresthesia, psychomotor disturbance, speech disturbance,
depression, visual disturbance,
weight loss, dysgeusia, mood changes and anorexia.
Symptoms what you are describing seems to be side effects related to the intake of the medication. It would be better for you to seek medical attention promptly to review the effects of medication to adjust the dose or change to another one which could suit you.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
