Nerve Throbbing Headache On Left Temple. Detected Weak Or Swollen Nerve. Prescribed Tablets. Suggest
I have been having headache for over a week now. It's on my left temple and I can feel the nerve thorbbing. My doctor has prescribed me Paramet 3 times a day, Ceplar OMA 3 times a day and Rabuim DSR 1 time a day. He told me it's not a migraine headache. He named another sort of headache, I was not able to catch the name, but something starting with "T". He says the nerve is either weak or swelled. Could you please suggest, what exactly I'm suffering from?
I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through now.
Headache in the temples, throbbing with a palpable swelling makes me think of temporal arteritis among others possible causes. If this be the case, your doctor should order for erythrocyte sedimentation rate to see whether it is very high to through more light on this. Also, how is your vision? If it is blurry, please return to the hospital as soon as possible to make sure it is not temporal arteritis. However, the best diagnosis is getting a sample of the swollen vessel to look under the microscope.
Hope this helps and please do come back if need be.
I wish you a speedy recovery
