Newborn On Lactogen Formula. Can I Give Her Water?
Hi im irene mother of a month and four day old baby girl,she is on lactogen1 formula,i want to know if the tin says 150ml 5times a day(thats about every 4-5hours,should i follow the tin.because my baby want to eat every 3hours but is very fussy and cries the whole morning,what is the right way?and can i give her water?thanks,irene

Breast milk is the best milk for the baby.
Give her milk everytime she demands.Feed her till she is satisfied and stops feeding.
You can give her water because your are already making formula milk with water.

I suggest you to give EXCLUSIVE BREAST FEEDING to your baby.No need to add even water till 6 months of age.
Mothers milk is a boon for baby.
If you are giving formula feed,you can give water.
Feeding has to be on demand till baby is satisfied,passing urine adequately.
