No Feeling In Left Hand And Having Short Term Memory Loss After Head Hit In An Accident

sir, my brother got an accident in right side of head .his left hand has no feelings.he do work using his left hand only seeing his hand . he was mentally affected ,he lost his hope,and ha has an short term memory loss. docter please tell how to improve him

hello. I am sorry to hear about your brother's injury. There are some questions that I need you to answer for me before I make an opinion. Did your brother undergo a CT scan after the injury? have you shown him to to a neurologist/ neurosurgeon? Is his movement/ strength on the left side fine? In all likely hod your brother has suffered an injury to the brain tissue on the right side which gives sensation and power to the right side of the body, he needs a CT scan and evacuation of any blood clot if it is there. If the injury is diffuse then he would require conservative management. he definitely needs a neuro opinion do not delay it at any cost.
