No Periods Even After Taking Primulot N Tablets. Pregnancy Test Negative. History Of PCOs. Reason?
i took primulot n 10mg for seven days , its day 6 after i took it and no period. its not my first time taking it as i have pcos an i take it for my period to come but it usually come on day 3 after i took it. whats happening now? i have not been sexually active since my last period but i just took a pregnancy test and its negative. why havent i seen my period yet?
Period usually starts in 2-4 days after stopping Primolut-N tablets. But, in my opinion, we should wait for at least 10- 14 days before investigating further. As you are sure that you are not pregnant, you should wait. If period doesn't come even after 2 weeks, it may be due diseased endometrium or low estrogen levels in the body.In my opinion, in such situations conjugated equine estrogen 1.25 mg/ ethinyl estradiol 0.02 mg should be taken for 25 days with medroxyprogesterone from day 15-day 25 or a course of low dose oral contraceptive can be tried to find out the cause.
Hope this helps.
