No Sperm Seen In Report, We Are Worried Pls Suggest
Hi, my husband has done his semen analysis test done yesterday. which shows semen quantity in c.c. is - 2.0ml, colour - whitish, pH - 7.8, Viscosity - Normal, Fructose - Absent, Total Sperm count - no Sperms seen. we are worried pls suggest.
My husand and I went to a gynaec for check up my reports are normal.
My husband did his first semen analysis test and the gynace told they didnt find any sperms... but as per report it says dead sperms found. What does this mean.she didnt explain us further.
Please help me in understanding the below report.

sperm count: Occasional dead sperms seen in sediment preparation (reference range 60 to 150 million/ml)
due to the above motility, morphology is shown as zero.
Other observations
Leucocytes 6.8/hpf
RBCs 0-2hpf
Parasite - nil
Epithelial cells 0-2
we will do another test soon but in the mean time please interprate the above for me.

this a condition called Azoospermia -is the medical condition of a male not having any measurable level of sperm in his semen. It is associated with very low levels of fertility or even sterility, but many forms are amenable to medical treatment. It is of 3 types-pretesticular, testicular and posttesticular.Pre- and post-testicular azoospermia a frequently correctible, while testicular azoospermia is usually permanent.please get a thorough evaluation and proceed.
