Norethisterone Tablets Heavy Bleeding, Kindly Advice Me

I have bulky Uterus 10.4 cm x 7 cmand a fibroid of 4.5 cm. I took lupried injection for 3 months. and next period was extrim heavy and clots. I went to another doctor and she advise me to take 5mg Norethisterone tablets 3 times per day. I am taking since last 14 days now i have to take twice a day for next 7-10 days. then she want to go for uterus remove opration In past i have 2 child with opration. So i dont prefer surgery . I want to know is it posibe to take Registon for one or two months more. Is their scoop of again heavy bleeding .Pl advice me

Hi,
The size of your fibroid is pretty big.You will have to continue taking the norethistrone(or regestrone,both are the same)and if you stop then bleeding will start again.I would also advise surgery in your case.There is scope if bleeding once the hormones are stopped.
