Nose Blockage, Slanted Shape. History Of Nasal Surgery. Repeat Surgery Needed?
Hi, I am kamaljeet chawla from pitampura, delhi. I got a nasal surgery done on my nose for breathing problems at the age of 12. Now I am 27 and the same problem has started prevailing for the last 4-5 years and the blockage has increased considerably. Even my nose shape has completely deterioted (slanted) which looks quite odd. Please suggest me the solution (should I go for the surgery again to improve the condition).
I understand your concern about the shape of your nose and nose block. I do not exactly know what surgery you underwent at age 12, but a septal surgery is never performed on a growing nose as it can interfere with the growth of the septal cartilages and cause deformity. The best bet for you would be to visit a rhinoplastic surgeon, who will examine your nose in detail. Both the internal and external nose needs a thorough evaluation and further needful. Hope this helps.
if you have blockage need to clear by surgey to maintain passage of air during respiration but i think you are allergic and allergies causes recurent hypertrophy of nasal mucosaleading to block after clearing passage can go for treatment f allergies by consulting allergy doctor to prevent further recurences
