Nose Choked, Ear Aching, Consumed Montek LC, No Relief. What To Do?
A night before last night, my nose got choked and ear started aching at midnight. Next morning I started ear drops Otogesic . I tried to clean ear wax with ear bud. Also I consumed Montek LC last night. Now i can t feel pain in ear. But my one ear is blocked for almost more than 30 hours now. Any advice?
I have gone through your query regarding nose block, ear ache and not getting relief by montek LC.
Truly speaking you are having blocked nose due to cold and this is responsible for draining infection into throat and from here to ear via eustachian tube. Once the eustachian tube gets blocked the middle ear ventilation suffers and ultimately results in negative pressure in middle ear and this you felt as blocked ear.
To get relief you should take-
1- Steam inhalation.
2- Antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum).
3- Anti histaminic.
4- Anti inflammatory.
Probably above treatment will help you and you will feel change, but if it fails than consultation with your ENT doctor will become necessary.
Regards.
