Noticed Delay In Periods And Possibility Of A Bacterial Infection

I haven't had my period for 2-3 months bc I just switched birth controls now I had one for 2-3 weeks? After bleeding for that long I had a fishy small beginning like a bacterial infection... I don't know what it is. Now I'm having brownish pinkish discharge like my uterus is shedding what is wrong?
