Noticed Swelling At The Base Of The Neck Due To Pneumovax Shot
Got my flu shot and pneumovax shot on Friday one in each arm. On The pneumovax side, the base of my neck swelled up noticeably yesterday and was very tender. The arm is quite sore still but I was expecting that. I was also very tired, almost like I was coming down with something. Been taking neurofen and panadol which seems to help. Today a bit better but neck still tender and a bit of swelling? Should I be worried? Thanks. Joe
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. Nothing to worry about the swelling and pain. This takes time to settle down atleast 2-3 days. If you have severe pain and swelling you can take analgesic like diclofenac with anti inflammatory drug like serratiopeptidase. Nothing to worry. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
