Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello Dr samuel I have been having shortness of breath since 2 months now. it seems to get worse after eating. I have been to doctors but they all keep saying its anxiety and I never get a definite answer. please if you could help. im a 24 year old male. I dont smoke or drink .
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Shortness of breath is one of the symptom of anxiety and your doctors are right. but before I answer the query, I need to know so many other details. What are the reasons of the anxiety? How often it is been manifested etc etc. You need to be more broad.
once your doctors are sure that the trouble is due to anxiety then believe them and ignore the breathlessness and in some days the symptom should vanish. Do not think more and increase the problem. you can post a direct question to me with all the details and I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques to overcome anxiety problems.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
