Numbness And Visible Lack Of Muscle On Inner Calf Muscle Following A Large Hematoma From Impact. Is This Normal?

Four years ago during a soccer game I was kicked very hard on the inner side of my right calf muscle by the other team's striker and it resulted in a rather large hematoma that appeared immediately after impact and took months to disappear. Since then I have numbness and lack of muscle in the area of impact(like a visible fist-sized depression compared to the surrounding muscle). I still have feeling on the skin over the area that is numb, but the deep tissue and close to the bone is completely numb. Is that normal, and is there a word to describe the numbness and lack of muscle in that area?

HI
Thank for adking to HCM
I really can understand your worry, this could be trauma of nerve fiber and the muscular soft tissue and vascular bed may have permanently damage them this may be called Degeneration of musculo vascular and nerve fibers ( Necrosis areas ) I would advise you better to go for some investigation it may turn something else also this is just my assumption and not the exact clinical diagnosis, have nice day.
