Numbness In Legs, Difficulty In Walking, Had Flu. Having COPD. What Could Be This?

my husband got a flu shot the first of January, two days later he could hardly walk, had numbness in his legs.
he went to the doctor and so far they have not been able to figure anything out. he has copd so they are blaming that, and say the flu shot has nothing to do with this. he is now on oxygen some of the time and still has tingling and numbness , weakness in his legs. we gave been to a heart doctor and a lung specialist, and do not know where else to seek help

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Where flu shot was given , please clear it.
C O P D is serious disease hence blaming flu shot is not justifiable .
Rather we ,should find out the cause of numbness and weakness in legs.
Please mention the history of diabetes,
hypertension,
pulmonary function,
NEUROPATHY,
Back pain history.
X ray of lumbo-sacral region will reveal many things.
Good luck.
