Numbness On Left Side After Waking Up From Sleep. Is This A Cause For Concern?
hi...I am a frequent flyer and keep on going to different places around the world. I have this peculiar problem as I sleep in the flight and when i get up then specifically my left side becomes very numb; specially hand and legs and it becomes so difficult to move my this side...it takes lots of efforts for me to like wakeup these parts...please suggest me is this something to worry about????
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic, From the description it looks like the position in which you sleep compresses the cutaneous nerves on the left thereby decreasing the blood supply and thus causing numbness. Keep shifting positions to avoid this. I do not think there is anything serious to worry about. Hope this helped. Take care.
