Obese, No Periods For Years, Having Light To Heavy Spotting. Should I Be Concerned?

I am a female, grossly obess and will be turning 57 on Monday, the 19th. My last period was about 7 years ago and over the last 1 1/2 - 2 weeks I have been having very light spotting to slightly heavier spotting. Should I be concerned? My last pap smear was about 9 mths or so ago and was perfectly fine as have all my paps.

hi..
you have attained menaupause 7 years ago..
now you have spotting/bleeding..
post menaupausal bleeding should be taken little seriously..
see your gynaecologist immediately for the examination, pap smear, USG, Endometrial biopsy is required to make the diagnosis..
management depends on the laboratory results.. Hystectomy may be adviced..because hormonal management is contraindicated in your case..
all the very best..
